This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) supports "mature" resources at synchrotron facilities that provide user access to X-ray beamlines for static and dynamic imaging of biological systems ranging from molecules to organs. "Mature" refers to the techniques made available at the resource beamlines, which must be well established and provide utility to the communities they serve without requiring significant novel technology development. Requirement for Current NIGMS Support: This NOFO is limited to applicants requesting support for existing synchrotron resources that are currently supported by NIGMS funding. Applications cannot support resources whose funding ended more than 36 months prior to the application due date.Refer to Section III.
