Description
The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) intends to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to solicit applications for Resource-based centers to provide critical research infrastructure, shared facilities, services, and resources to groups of investigators conducting research on rheumatic diseases. This will enable them to conduct individual or team-based science research projects more efficiently and effectively. The overall goal is to accelerate, enrich, and enhance the effectiveness of ongoing basic, translational, and clinical research and promote new research within the NIAMS mission.
Applications are not being solicited at this time. This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. Investigators with expertise and insights into this area of rheumatic diseases are encouraged to begin to consider applying for this new NOFO.
