Description

The intent of Home Veterans' Reintegration Program (HVRP), an employment-focused competitive grant program, aims to support America’s veterans in achieving their full employment potential and securing high-quality career outcomes for veterans experiencing and at risk of homelessness. The Department encourages applicants to propose strategies that promote economic prosperity, including appropriate participant support measures to help veterans find meaningful employment and overcome barriers to a successful transition into the workforce.

Additional information

Also eligible are the following: U.S Territories or Possessions, Native American Tribally Designated Organizations, State and Local Workforce Development Boards (SWDBs/LWDBs) established under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), and Other State and Local Government Agencies. Faith-based organizations are encouraged to apply, as are all organizations. Those that meet the eligibility requirements may receive awards under this funding opportunity. DOL will not, in the selection of recipients and administration of the grant, discriminate on the basis of an organization’s religious character, affiliation, exercise, or lack thereof, or on the basis of conduct that would not be considered grounds to favor or disfavor a similarly situated secular organization.
