Description

The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $36,600,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) aims to support the Government of Kenya in accelerating the transition of oversight and implementation of comprehensive HIV prevention and treatment programs to national and sub-national health systems. Funded under the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the NOFO seeks to strengthen local capacity and sustainability of HIV services while maintaining progress toward epidemic control. Key activities will focus on delivery of HIV prevention and treatment services, technical support, health systems strengthening, quality improvement, and capacity building to ensure the delivery of client-centered, evidence-based HIV services. You will work closely with the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders to improve program ownership, data use, and accountability at all levels. The NOFO prioritizes access, community engagement, and integration of services to address gaps in HIV prevention, testing, treatment, and viral load suppression. This effort supports long-term sustainability and self-reliance by enhancing local leadership, governance, and financing in line with Kenya’s national HIV strategic priorities and aligning with PEPFAR’s global mission to combat HIV/AIDS.
