Description

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the availability of approximately $409.59 million of Fiscal Year 2021 funds for buses, bus facilities, and bus equipment. Synopses and full announcement will be posted on Grants.gov as opportunity FTA-2021-008-BUS. Proposals must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov website by 11:59 PM Eastern Time November 19,2021.

Eligible applicants include designated recipients that allocate funds to fixed route bus operators, states or local governmental entities that operate fixed route bus service, and Indian tribes. Eligible subrecipients include all otherwise eligible applicants and also private nonprofit organizations engaged in public transportation. Subrecipients include eligible recipients that receive grant funding under the formula or discretionary programs may allocate amounts from the grant to subrecipients that are public agencies or private nonprofit organizations engaged in public transportation.
