Description

Project Objectives: The U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh invites proposals for think tanks or similar organizations to research and produce a comprehensive report, study, or documentary analyzing Cambodia’s progress to date in meeting the pledges set forth in the 1991 Paris Peace Agreements. The target publication date would be late October, to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Agreements on October 23, 2021.

The successful proposal would draw on a variety of sources, including interviews with participants in the 1980s and early 1990s peace process, the UNTAC mission in Cambodia from 1992-1993, current government officials, current or former journalists, outside experts and others.

Additional information

U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh welcomes applications from U.S.-based, Cambodia-based, and foreign non-profit organizations / non-government organizations (NGO); and U.S., Cambodia, and foreign private, public, or state institutions of higher education. For-profit organizations are not eligible to apply. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong linkages with a Cambodia-based partner organization.
