Description
The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $2,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.
This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) will engage faith-based organizations (FBOs) to support and sustain life-saving services for HIV testing, HIV prevention, and tuberculosis (TB), as well as adult and pediatric HIV care and treatment and cervical cancer services in Ethiopia under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Work will leverage interaction with faith communities to provide services to people at high risk of HIV who may not have access through more traditional means. The awardee will be expected to implement cost-efficient models integrated with the routine health care delivery system to reach people living with HIV and people at high risk of HIV, ensuring their access to critical HIV and TB services. This NOFO will support activities that encourage country ownership and invest in country-led plans that enable greater sustainability. Programs supporting other public health threats in Ethiopia may also be supported.
