The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy in Honduras Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) announces an open competition to implement programs that promote U.S. priorities and strengthen ties between the United States and Honduras. U.S. priorities include advancing regional security, celebrating U.S. excellence tied to the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, building regional economic prosperity, promoting use of U.S. science, technology, and innovation, and defending freedom of speech. All programs must include an American element, or connection with American expert(s), organization(s), or institution(s) in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives.

The following organizations are eligible to apply: ●Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations ●Public and private educational institutions●Individuals●Public International Organizations and Governmental institutionsAll organizations must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) issued via SAM.gov as well as a valid registration in SAM.gov.
