Description
The primary aim of the Statistical Support Program for the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS-SSP) is to provide statistical and methodological support for existing and new data collections. BJS collects, analyzes, publishes and disseminates information on policing, prosecution, courts, institutional corrections, community supervision, and victimization. The BJS-SSP will support efforts to expand the agency’s capacity to collect, analyze, and report criminal justice data, increasing the breadth of substantive issues.
