The purpose of this Funding Opportunity is to invite proposals for funding to deliver technical assistance to entrepreneurial development resource partners. Only an application from the states of Delaware, Michigan, and Ohio that have experience in managing a robust state-wide or nationwide cyber training program will be considered for funding via this announcement.

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Program has a statutory requirement to ensure that a percentage of SBDC counselors...
are trained and certified in cybersecurity and can therefore ensure that more small businesses are trained in cyber principles. The current certification process is funded through September 30, 2026. This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is designed to grant one award for a 2-year period to ensure SBA can continue that certification process. This expedited NOFO will allow SBA to implement an award for continuity of meeting this statutory requirement using a portion of the cyber pilot funding that also expires at the end of September.
