The U.S. Department of State’s U.S. Mission in South Africa, Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) announces an open competition to implement a program to roll out South Africa’s EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program (OFP). This program assists highly qualified students who wish to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program at an accredited post-secondary institution in the United States, and who are likely to be awarded full financial aid from such U.S. colleges and universities but lack the financial resources to cover the up-front costs.

The following organizations are eligible to apply: Only non-profit South African or U.S. organizations are eligible to apply. This includes non-profit think tanks, civil society/non-governmental organizations, and public and private educational institutions.Applicants should provide proof of their non-profit status if there is any ambiguity regarding this.
