Executive Summary

The Public Diplomacy Grants Program aims to strengthen U.S.-Cabo Verde relations by funding initiatives that promote mutual understanding and collaboration. These grants support projects aligned with U.S. foreign policy priorities, including economic growth, security cooperation, democratic governance, and cultural exchange.

All projects must include an American cultural element, or connection with American expert(s), organization(s), or institution(s) in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives.

Applicants are advised to review the executive orders and assess their potential impact on proposed projects. Ensuring that initiatives align with current U.S. foreign policy objectives and demonstrate programmatic efficiency will be crucial for funding consideration.
