...Purpose of Program: Through the CSP SFIG program, the Department provides grants on a competitive basis to eligible States to help them establish or enhance, and administer, a per-pupil facilities aid program for charter schools in the State that is specified in State law and provides annual financing, on a per-pupil basis, for charter school facilities. Charter schools that receive financial assistance through CSP SFIG Grants provide elementary or secondary education, or both, and may also serve students in early childhood education programs or postsecondary students.
