Description
This is a single opportunity for five years under the Department of the Interior Experienced Services Program, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022, Part Division G, Section 111, Public Law 117-103, The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act), Public Law 117-58.
Program activities will be carried out under a variety of authorizations that allow the USGS to serve the American people including: Organic Act of March 3, 1879 (43 U.S.C. 31 et seq.); The National Climate Program Act of 1978 (15 U.S.C 2901-2908); Energy Policy Act of 1992 (30 U.S.C. 1028); National Park...
Service Organic Act of 1916 (16 U.S.C. 17 et seq.); Mining and Minerals Policy Act of 1970 (30 U.S.C. 21(a)); Water Resources Development Act of 1992 (33 U.S.C. 1271); and Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments of 1996 (42 U.S.C. 300(f) et seq.). Awards under this funding opportunity are limited to qualified nonprofit organizations subject to 26 U.S.C. 501 (c)(3) of the tax code and must be designated by the Secretary of Labor as eligible to receive funds under Title V of the Older Americans Act of 1965. Proof of eligibility must be submitted with application.
