Additional information

Eligible applicants are any State, or group of States and Tribes involved in an interstate organization, with an ANS Management Plan approved by the Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force. To be considered for funding, applicants must work directly with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Aquatic Invasive Species Program and represent one of the currently 44 ANS Task Force approved State or Interstate ANS Management Plans. Section 1204 of the Nonindigenous Aquatic Nuisance Prevention and Control Act of 1990 restricts the award to States with ANSTF-approved State or Interstate ANS Management Plans. [Important note: the pre-proposal process will occur outside of Grant Solutions similar to how it has occurred in the past; for 2021, pre-proposals are due 3 weeks after posting of the NOFO. Once advised of the final funding level, grant application packages can be submitted via GrantSolutions.]
