SUMMARY: This notice establishes the deadline date for institutions of higher education (IHEs) that did not initially apply to receive allocations to transmit their applications for funds from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund under sections 18004(a)(1), 18004(a)(2), and 18004(a)(3) of the CARES Act as August 1, 2020.

NOTE TO APPLICANTS:

Please note that the due date for the 5136 institutions that were in the original allocation spreadsheet was August 1st, as was published in the Federal Register. 

The only applications that we are accepting after August 1, 2020 are the applications from institutions that have been identified as reserve schools. The deadline for these reserve schools is August 17th. The list of reserve schools is below.
