The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Request for Application (RFA) for the Office of Food for Peace (FFP) Development Food Security Activities in Mali. All background and programmatic information for this solicitation can be found directly within the RFA; a separate Country-Specific Information (CSI) document is not included.

Applications are submitted at the risk of the applicant.

Due to technical issues with the email address FY20-DFSA-RFA-Mali@usaid.gov which are now addressed, the Office of Food for Peace (FFP) extended the question period to January 7, 2020 for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Request for Application (RFA) for Development Food Security Activity in Mali. Any questions concerning the RFA, its appendices, or Technical References were to be submitted in writing by January 7, 2020 to FY20-DFSA-RFA-Mali@usaid.gov with "FY 2020 Mali RFA" in the subject line.

Please find attached the revised Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Request for Application (RFA) for the Office of Food for Peace (FFP) Development Food Security Activity in Mali. The revised RFA addresses the pertinent questions received during the question period for the subject RFA. USAID did not respond to questions individually, but has addressed pertinent questions in the revised RFA. The revised RFA also addresses recent revisions to the Automated Directives System (ADS) 303.

Applications are still due by Tuesday, February 18, 2020, 11:59 a.m. EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). Please do not wait until the last day to submit applications. USAID/FFP will work toward an expedient decision and will inform successful applicants of its decision.

Please note that no USAID/FFP country backstop officers or field representatives should be contacted about information contained in the RFA materials or with application questions.

The Climate Risk Profile (CRP) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Request for Application (RFA) for the Office of Food for Peace (FFP) Development Food Security Activity in Mali is available in the related documents.

Please note the following revision to Section IV Application and Submission Information of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Request for Applications (RFA) for the Office of Food for Peace (FFP) Development Food Security Activity in Mali:

  • The note about USAID’s email capacity on page 27 of the RFA is changed from 25 megabytes (MB) to 10 MB including all attachments. Applicants may still use multiple emails or zip files if needed.
