Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a Cooperative Agreement to California Department of Water Resources under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.563, Public Law 99-546, Title II – Suisun Marsh Preservation Act, Section 201-204. Estimated total amount of agreement is $15,448,962.
This project will provide the following:
...
(1)fulfill commitments in the 2015 Suisun Marsh Preservation Agreement;
(2) maintain water quality and quantity and improve wetland habitat in Suisun Marsh to mitigate the adverse effects on the Marsh of the Central Valley Project (CVP) and a portion of the adverse effects of the upstream diversions; and
(3) improve Marsh wildlife habitat to the extent that such improvement is compatible with other CVP and State Water Project purposes.

A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
