The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Consulate General Karachi (PAS Karachi) is pleased to announce an open competition for an assistance award through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), contingent on funding availability, through the Public Diplomacy Grants Program. The project set forth in this NOFO supports institutional capacity-building in the Pakistan film industry.  Pakistan’s film industry is growing dramatically. This program will contribute to economic growth and improvement of Pakistan’s workforce capacity in this critical and growing sector.  The grantee will develop a short film competition, organize masterclasses, and partner with the Karachi Film Society (KFS),  the parent  body of the Pakistan International Film Festival (PIFF), or a similar organization to arrange attendance at the PIFF and organize related activities.
