Description

The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering intends to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to solicit applications for research to develop biomedical technologies aimed at reducing disparities in healthcare access and health outcomes. Appropriate biomedical technologies should be effective, affordable, socially acceptable, and deliverable to those who need them. Applications are not being solicited at this time. Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. This NOFO will utilize the R01 activity code. Investigators with expertise and insights into this area of development of biomedical technologies are encouraged to begin to consider applying for this new NOFO.
