This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the BJA FY 2026 Body-Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program (BWCPIP) to Support Law Enforcement Agencies. This opportunity supports publicly funded law enforcement and correctional agencies for the purchase or lease of body-worn cameras (BWCs) and the development of comprehensive BWC programs. For this NOFO, “Other Entities” refers to an authorized agency or consortium that acts as an intermediary to assist eligible law enforcement agencies perform law enforcement functions, such as regional or state level authorities, or State Administrating Agencies (SAAs); Other Units of Local Government: This includes towns, boroughs, parishes, villages, or other general purpose political subdivisions of a state; Publicly Funded Law Enforcement Agencies: Law enforcement agencies funded by states, federally-recognized Tribes, or units of local government; Publicly Funded Correctional Agencies: Correctional agencies funded by states, federally-recognized Tribes, or units of local government.
