Additional information

This potential cooperative agreement involves data collection designed to capture information on the adoption of and attitudes towards electronic health records in U.S. hospitals. In this instance, the AHA is uniquely positioned as the sole organization that can work with ONC to develop the survey instrument necessary to track the progress of health IT adoption and use among U.S. hospitals that ONC monitors. ONC will use the results of this data collection effort for public dissemination of health IT progress.
