Description
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) along with the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD); Division of Program Coordination, Planning and Strategic Initiatives, Office of Disease Prevention (ODP); and the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR), intend to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to solicit applications to renew the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Adult Health (Add Health) for a new five-year study period to continue core study aspects, including collecting, developing, and disseminating high quality population-representative data that can be used by the research community to understand life course factors shaping inequities in outcomes related to aging and AD/ADRD.
Applications are not being solicited at this time. Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. This NOFO will utilize the U01 activity code. Investigators with expertise and insights into this area of aging research are encouraged to begin to consider applying for this new NOFO.
