Summary

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC), operating through the Risk Management Agency (RMA), announces its intent to award up to $2 million to fund the Risk Management Education Partnership Program. The agency awards cooperative agreement(s) for this opportunity. The RMA’s Risk Management Education Division and Regional Offices will be substantially involved in the work performed under the agreement and will undertake activities such as the following:

a. Collaborate with the recipient to review and approve a promotional program and risk management materials to raise awareness of crop insurance and inform producers about training and informational opportunities in the designated state(s).

b. Collaborate with the recipient on delivering education to producers and agribusiness leaders in the designated state(s), including: (a) reviewing and approving all educational activities for producers and agribusiness leaders in advance; (b) advising the project leader on technical issues related to crop insurance education and information; (c) assisting the project leader in informing crop insurance professionals about educational activity plans and scheduled meetings; and (d) promoting and creating awareness of scheduled partnership activities. Regional Office involvement in

activities depend on available resources.

c. Conduct an evaluation of the recipient’s performance in meeting the project tasks.
